Delete your Wisp account and data

In the app

Open the Adult Area, then Account Settings, and choose Delete Wisp account & reader profiles. You confirm with a fresh sign-in from a link we email you.

Without the app

You don't need to install or open Wisp. Email privacy@wispervoice.com from the email address you sign in with and ask us to delete your WisperVoice (Wisp) account. Once we confirm that you control the account, we delete it and email you when it is done, within 45 days.

What is deleted

Your account, all backed-up reader data and your purchase record at RevenueCat. Deleting in the app also clears reader data from that device.

What is kept for a limited time

• Purchase update records (with no email or account ID): up to 400 days.
• Agreement records: 3 years after each agreement.
• Sign-in, service and error logs at Supabase: up to 90 days.
• Supabase database backups: encrypted, up to 30 days.
• Create a Story requests at OpenAI: up to 30 days, unless OpenAI must keep them longer by law or to protect its services or others.
• Records of privacy requests and our answers: 24 months.

Data kept only on a device stays there until you delete it, the reader or the Wisp app. Deleting the account does not cancel a subscription; cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
